Reducing three large Beech trees in Southoe
Last week we were in Southoe, near St.Neots in Cambridgeshire. The occupants of the property got in touch with Charlie Vince Tree Surgery after a recommendation by a friend of theirs. A site visit was promptly arranged to give a free quotation. The trees in question are protected by a TPO (Tree Preservation Order) this means that the local authorities had to be contacted to get permission granted. We filled out the necessary paperwork for the customers, requesting a two metre reduction to all three trees. After several weeks, permission was granted for the works applied for. A date was arranged to do the work.
The work was completed within the day, albeit a very challenging day due to the trees overhanging a road and many phone lines! Everything went to plan and all gardens including neighbouring gardens were left spotless. The logs that were suitable for burning on an open fire or wood burner, were cut into suitable sizes and stacked in the garden of the customers house.
