Moat clearance at Manor Farm in Eltisley, Cambridgeshire.

This is a site we cleared in February earlier this year at Manor Farm in Eltisley. Their moat had become so over grown it was difficult to tell there was even a moat there! It took 4 days to clear both banks and the moat itself. A tracked chipper was used to gain access through an adjacent field, as it was impossible to get our vehicles to the moat. A further day was spent clearing an adjoining brook. Our client was delighted with the work our team had achieved and left this lovely comment on our website;

"Yet again Charlie and his team of men and machines rose to the challenge. A week of felling trees, clearing scrub and pulling fallen branches and trees out of the water. The result is amazing we can now see the water and banks after years of being buried under overgrown trees, bushes, Brambles and Ivy! They remained cheerful despite the cold, rain and snow and left the area tidier than it had been in decades!"
