Felling a very large and dangerous Horse Chestnut in St Neots, Cambridgeshire
Last week we were in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, felling a very large and dangerous Horse Chestnut tree. Following a meeting with the tree officer to inspect the tree, we discovered the tree was unsafe due to a crack in the bottom of the trunk. Instant permission was given to remove the tree. The carpark was closed and all residents were notified of the danger. This was considered an emergency, so we assembled a team for the coming weekend. We used a 10 tonne ratchet strap (for

This week we have been in Great Paxton in Cambridgeshire. We had a number of large hedges to trim and the circle of Pleached Lime trees at the front of the house. We were all very pleased with the finished result. The customers were very happy with the work and have asked for us to return in the autumn for ano

Our team of tree surgeons tackled the hedge (see picture below) and another one out of shot. We also removed a few nuisance Elder trees and poisoned the stumps to prevent them from growing back! This job took just ove

The customer was keeping the wood which made it a lot easier for us! A winch was used to pull the tree over and away from the outbuildings below the tree. We cleared up to our usual high standard, and you'd barely know we were there. Feel free to get in touch for a free quotation! Details are on the web
